Trailwalker 2014 |
So....what's all the fuss about?
Portsmouth (Queen Elizabeth Park) to Brighton (Brighton Racecourse)
http://www.oxfam.org.uk/trailwalker
100km, 30 hours, 4 girls. We'll see you at the finish line!!
This is not just A walk....this is THE walk. The Trailwalker event began in 1981 and originated as a training exercise for the Queen's Gurkha Signals (part of the Brigade of Gurkhas) in Hong Kong. In 1986 it began to include civilians, becoming the charity event that it is today using Oxfam Hong Kong as the charity partner. In 1996 Trailwalker moved to the UK. To date, more than 65, 000 people have taken part.
We're pledged to raise £1, 500 for Oxfam. Money raised will go to improving agriculture, sinking
wells and looking after ex-servicemen and women. What do Oxfam do?
Please help us raise our pledge at our Justgiving page, or via the PayPal donate button below - even 50p will help us climb closer to our pledge amount. Where
does the money go?
